Funny Friday Edition: “Momma?!”

Can I Laugh Now? *Encouraging you to see the humor in life’s embarrassing moments.

“Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5: 9-11

As Laugh Coaches for Can I Laugh Now?, Kitta and I have two main goals:  1 -to let our Laughers know that they are not alone in their trying times (because we’ve all been there) and 2 -to let our Laughers know that even though they may hurt now, the pain does not last always (they will laugh again!).

Here’s a quick laugh from one of our Laughers.

Funny Friday Edition:  Momma?! (Just in time for Mother’s Day!)

Laugher:  CFA House from Jackson, TN

Premise:  Bad case of mistaken identity

*One day while walking home from school, CFA House noticed a young lady walking about 50 yds in front of him.

*Being the ladies man he thought he was CFA House sprinted to catch up with her.

*As he neared he noticed the young lady was bow-legged. And with closer observation her walk began to look quite familiar.

*CFA House stopped abruptly and called out “Momma?!” The young lady turned around.

*And to CFA House’s horror, the young lady that caught his eye was in fact his own mother!

So funny! So gross! Hey, he’s able to laugh about it now. And that’s all that matters!
